Well it has come to my attention that maybe i should bring this group back to life.
I originally closed this group when thing went bad both in terms of group members and personal things which i am not gunna air here!
so with that in mind i am posting up some new rules and the new direction this group will follow.
Layout:
the group will conform to a structure, not a command structure and not you samey living history group as we ARE NOT A LIVING HISTORY GROUP so if you want living history go else where.
we as a group will potray the british fighting man and woman from 1985 to 1995 as this was years of transitions that way there is lots examples of weapons, gear and clothing, this will also cover all three arms of the british military forces Army, Navy and Airforce as much of this time was all the same for all three.
this is not a text book group nor is it a multi-national group i would love to see modified webbing and combat gear as because thats what happened!
Rules:
1: we are a family group so family and friends are welcome just be sure that all group items are toward the public and civi tents etc are covered with camo netting in order to keep the illusion.
2: rank, berets, jump wings etc maybe worn as part of the uniform but if you DID NOT EARN them please do not try and take credit for them WHAT SO EVER.
3: weapons, bayonets, vehicles etc are to be secure and if the public wishes to hold a weapon it must be done under supervision AT ALL TIMES, NO EXCEPTIONS.
4: when conducting yourself around shows/displays you are a member of the group and bad behaviour reflects badly on ourselves, please do not conduct yourself poorly especially in front of the public.
5: have fun at the end of the day we are doing this to pass some knowledge on and enjoy ourselves.
if these rules above pose a problem please feel free to pm me directly or do not apply.
lets see if we can restart this and bring it to the top of the game!
all the best
Jonathan
